We know adults are busy, with or without kids. And we want to give you the "feel good" benefits that come with dancing. One of the first things that comes to mind when you think of taking an adult dance class is that it can be a great form of cardiovascular exercise. While that's certainly true, there are many reasons adults should consider attending a regular dance class.

1. Manage Your Weight
Dancing is great cardio vascular exercise, but you're never thinking about that while dancing; you're thinking about the moves, the music, the feeling. It is great for your heart and muscles as well as improving flexibility and reducing stress. Dancing regularly can also help increase your daily energy level, which can help you manage your weight while also making other daily activities much more enjoyable.
2. Reduce Your Stress!
When you're dancing there's no space in your brain to stress out about day-to-day life. When you enter the dance studio you can leave your stress and worries at the door and simply enjoy your body's movement.
3. Improve Your Brain
Dancing helps improve your memory. Science shows that a variety of exercises like dance can help support the part of your brain that controls your memory. By learning new skills, routines, and movements, you challenge your brain to be flexible and remember new things!

Dancing helps develop muscles, improve circulation, improve posture, balance, coordination and promote greater flexibility. Flexibility is often overlooked as a benefit but can really decrease the chances of injury.

ADULT JAZZ - Tue 10:30am
Dance through the decades in all styles of jazz in this upbeat class. Our adult jazz class is full of great technical tips, awesome stretching, and fun choreography. You're never too old to "shake your groove thing" and boost your entire week in this dance class. Start to feel the joy for yourself.
ADULT AERIAL - Mon & Wed 7:30pm
Silks, hoops, trapeze and more. Our Aerial classes will have you dancing in the air in no time. We have classes for adults brand new to Aerial Arts as well as advanced students. Our instructors have a fun approach to this beautiful artform that can give you the confidence to reach new heights.
ADULT BALLET - Wed at 10:30am & Sat at 10:00am
These dance classes provide ballet instruction for every age group, whether you're a young adult or senior citizen. From first-time dancers to dancers with years of experience, our instructors can help you enjoy ballet at every level.
ADULT HIP HOP - Thu 7:30pm
Love hip hop but have been intimidated by the thought of trying to learn complex dance moves? Our high-energy adult hip hop dance class offers a non-intimidating approach to learning. The choreography taught by our instructors is thoughtfully created so students of all backgrounds can enjoy hip hop!
ADULT TAP - Wed 7:00pm
Tap is a dance style you can safely do until you are 120 years old. Our fun tap classes are fun, with great music and great style. The instructor has brought her love of tap into the hearts of all her adult students.
